I used to go by these refineries every time I rode the bus back home. I always told myself I’d bring my camera with me one day and take a few good shots, but never actually got around to doing it. The place scared me as a kid, but I’ve grown to like the eerie grimness of this particular skyline. According to my parents, I used to refer to the fire spitting chimneys as “dragons”. 

Each time I go by now, I squint my eyes a little, put on the right music and it sorta feels like I skipped out of the matrix to the real world.
